What your rent covers
The monthly rent covers everything on this list, except the weekly cleaning, which is a €20 monthly cleaning fee. If a flat uses more than its utilities allowance, the difference is shared between housemates.
You also pay a €200 deposit before check-in. It comes back within 60 days of moving out.

Between Estrela and Alcântara
Travessa do Possolo is a small residential street between Estrela, Campo de Ourique and Alcântara. Shops, cafés and restaurants are in the streets around it, and the river is about twenty minutes away on foot.

Use the form below or the chat button. We reply by email, usually within one working day, with the rooms free for your dates.
Pick a room and sign
Choose the room you like and we send you the accommodation agreement to sign online.
Confirm with the first month
Paying the first month secures the room. The last month and the €200 deposit are paid before check-in.
Move in
We meet you with the keys. You have seven days to tell us about anything wrong in the room.
Questions people ask
How long can I stay?
Most people stay for a semester or a full academic year. Stays of four months, September to December or February to May, carry a one-off short-stay fee of €250.
Are bills included?
Water, electricity and gas are included up to €20 per person per month, and Wi-Fi is fully included. If a flat uses more than that, the difference is split between the housemates.
What do I pay before moving in?
You pay the first month to confirm the room. Before check-in you pay the last month’s rent and a €200 deposit. A reservation fee may apply, and we tell you the exact amounts before you commit.
Is there a cleaning fee?
Yes, €20 a month on top of the rent. It pays for the weekly cleaning of the kitchen, bathrooms and hallways.
When do I get my deposit back?
Within 60 days of moving out, after we check the room. Any utilities above the limit or damage are deducted.
Is the rent different in summer?
Yes, July and August cost less: €259 to €299 in July and €309 to €339 in August, depending on the room.
Can my partner live with me?
Yes, in most rooms. Two people in one room pay €90 more per month, and the deposit is per person.
Can friends stay over?
Friends can visit any time during the day. Overnight guests need to be booked with us in advance and cost €8 per night.
Is smoking allowed?
Not inside the flats. You can smoke on the balconies or outside.
Who cleans the flat?
The kitchen, bathrooms and hallways are cleaned once a week, covered by the €20 monthly cleaning fee. You keep your own room tidy.
Can you give me a document for my visa?
Yes. Once the last month’s rent is paid, we issue a signed and stamped accommodation declaration you can use for visa and residence applications.
